Erika Rankin
Erika Felice Rankin is an LA-based director, writer, and comedy-minded creative with a focus on character-driven rom-coms and heartfelt half-hour comedy. A graduate of Northwestern University, she directed the award-winning proof-of-concept Notarize Me, which won the SXSW Audience Award, the SXSW Pitch-A-Thon (with SeriesFest), and was a finalist at the ATX Television Festival.
Erika is currently developing a new rom-com feature with her writing partner, Brigitte Valdez, and has been recognized as a finalist in major screenwriting competitions including the PAGE Awards. Her work also includes the festival-nominated sketch Bitches By the Sea and the WhoHaha-featured piece Worst Case Scenario.
She continues to work across comedy, performance, and commercial work, with recent national bookings for Amazon and Verizon and past appearances on Californication, House of Lies, The Great Indoors, and The Millers.
